Hi! My name is Ashley Norred Powell and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, and the founder of ASC. I’ve worked in the field of mental, emotional, and behavioral health for nearly 15 years in a myriad of settings. I didn’t exactly have the easiest path to licensure and made avoidable mistakes early on in my career because I wasn’t being properly supervised. That’s where my passion for this process began. As a Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor in the state of Georgia, I have made it my mission to help pre-licensed professionals grow and feel supported in every aspect of the journey. This is also why I chose the virtual model. I wanted to be able to make supervision and consultation more accessible. And while the romance of brick and mortar can’t be matched, I know we can still build a community that fosters growth and success from the convenience of any private space. Currently, I supervise interns in a university counseling center, as well as those pursing licensure post masters.

Because I am extremely invested in the best possible outcome for supervisees, I participate in a monthly Supervisor’s group through LPCA of GA. This group helps me stay on top of changes from the board, as well as assuring ethical compliance for myself and my supervisees.
